Why you’ll love it

Canyon hikes at dawn, spa afternoons, stars you forgot existed. A GoSmart specialist tailors the route, the stays, and the pace to you.

Why it works

The four main vortex sites, Airport Mesa, Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Boynton Canyon, are what people come for. Whether you feel the energy or just the quiet of red rock at first light, the place delivers.

Worth knowing

Start at sunrise. The lots at Cathedral Rock and Devil's Bridge fill by 8am and the midday sun is punishing, so dawn gives you cool air, empty trails, and the best light.
Sedona sits at 4,500 feet. Coming from sea level, take the first day easy, drink more water than feels necessary, and the altitude will not ambush you.
Many popular trailheads require a Red Rock Pass or another accepted recreation pass, so check before you go. It is a few dollars a day, sold at kiosks and visitor centers, and rangers do ticket.
Sedona is about two hours north of Phoenix. The drive up through the red rock is part of it, and it pairs naturally with the Grand Canyon another two hours on.
