Chicago
你好 Chicago Chinatown!
Chinatown Chicago
If you are traveling to Chicago and you are a big foodie (such as myself), you cannot miss Chinatown! There are plenty of landmarks/places to explore, such as:
- 88 Marketplace
- Ping Tom Memorial Park (pro tip— you can also board the Chicago Water Taxi from here!)
- Chinatown Square
However, the main reason I come to Chinatown is for the delicious food. My favorite spots include:
- MCCB: recognized by the Michelin guide (and for good reason)
- Happy Lamb Hotpot: great spot for some Chinese hotpot!
- Mango Mango: the best dessert in all of Chicago! They have the most amazing mango-based treats! I would recommend the mango crepe cake and a mango smoothie
They have various other restaurants and shops serving boba, dim sum, and other various types of Asian cuisine items! The good eats never end!!!
PRO TIP: if you are visiting from downtown Chicago, take the Chicago Water Taxi— you get amazing views, and it drops you right in the heart of Chinatown (and is much cheaper than an uber)
